Fusible Valves
Thermally actuated emergency safety valves available in 2-Way (2/2) and 3-Way (3/2) configurations, engineered to automatically vent hydraulic control pressure or isolate process lines upon exposure to ambient fire or extreme thermal hazard conditions.
Image shown is representative. Actual product configuration and appearance may vary according to selected specifications and ordering code.
Engineering Features & Variations
- 2-Way (2/2) Flow Configuration: Provides single-line thermal emergency discharge or line shut-off up to 10,000 PSI for process and fuel lines.
- 3-Way (3/2) Flow Configuration: Automatically blocks control supply and vents downstream actuator / hydraulic control pressure to tank or atmosphere upon thermal eutectic trigger.
- Calibrated eutectic thermal alloy elements available in melt ratings: 158°F (70°C), 184°F (84°C), 203°F (95°C), 225°F (107°C), 255°F (124°C), and 281°F (138°C).
- Resilient seating designed to maintain tight containment and reliable rapid actuation during external thermal exposure.
- 100% factory hydrostatic pressure and seat integrity tested at our Mumbai manufacturing facility.
Target Applications
Wellhead control panels (WHCP), surface safety valve (SSV) ESD loops, hydraulic actuator emergency venting, fuel gas shut-off trains, boiler burner safety lines, and offshore topside fire safety circuits.
